Our Story
Established out of both a need and a want, Holy Macro! Preps was founded in 2020 by Alex Sandoval. Alex is the original brains and soul of Holy Macro!, but quickly decided to bring on board certified Chef Miguel Avila to help perfect his menu. With Miguel on the Holy Macro! team, a variety of new and exciting recipes are constantly being made. Alex and Miguel are not just business partners, but childhood friends as well, and are now working together to bring a better experience to meal prep and dieting. Alex's background in macros and calorie counting helps bring a more personal touch to ordering meals to help lose weight. . Miguel's background in the culinary world, experience working in kitchens, and his degree in Hospitality Management also allows him to provide a variety of meals each with its own unique and delicious taste that you'd never think was possible when dieting!

Humble beginnings
The rise of Holy Macro! is truly a rags to riches story. Alex and Miguel both came from humble beginnings, growing up in households which weren't too well off. They both understood the value of hard work and realize that nothing in life is given. Before Miguel joined, Alex was running Holy Macro! out of his home, with the help and support of his brother, sister in-law, and the mother of his child. Alex was able to grow Holy Macro! from just an idea to a full fledged company solely through word of mouth and good clientele. In a twist of faith, Alex ran into his childhood friend, Miguel, on a Monday evening. They both got to talking about what Alex had established with Holy Macro!. Miguel used his background in Hospitality Management to help Alex see the potential in the business, and decided to join Holy Macro! as a business partner. Having worked in the food industry, Miguel was able to bring new ideas and help streamline a variety of menu items. The main factors that Miguel focuses on when creating a new dish is that it should first be healthy, as well as taste amazing. Having travelled all across the world, Miguel is able to use his diverse experience in different cuisines to help craft dishes from different regions as well as make fusion dishes. Together they have both helped elevate Holy Macro! to another level in terms of quality and prestige.
